Louisville Voter Education & Youth Development, Inc hosted a barbecue for their youth. The youth had a chance to eat and play some outdoor games. The purpose of this occasion was to kick off the beginning of a new organization. We talked and discussed with the youth our plans and goals for them as being part of this organization. We received immediately feedback from the youth on how they felt about being part of this group. We stressed to the youths the importance of having their supports and parents also for this organization to be successful. Everyone was willing to do their part to help make this organization succeed.
